Good winterhardy strong growing variety that grows very upright. New shoots break of very easily (spineless). Has a preference for a sunny spot or a place in half-shade. Prefers a soil with a lot of organic matter (a permanent cover with mulch) Good cropping variety, very early fruiting. Regular harvest. Flowers mid april, but is very cold tolerant. Pollinated by bumble bees and solitary bees. Care: keep the bush very open. Cover the soil with compoost and mulching material. Birds like these berries too... |
